What it is the main cause for the teen’s pregnancy?

Introduction

 EU is one of the most industrialized nations, which have one of the highest rates 

of teen pregnancy, with a lot of teenage girls that could becoming pregnant in whatever 

moment. . Every year, approximately 750,000 women aged 15 to 19 become pregnant 

every year. The children births from teen mothers represent eleven percent of all births

 Teenagers obtain a significant quantity of information regarding sex through TV 

and such programs do not generally emphasize the responsibilities and risks of sex. 

The study established that television program with sexual content generate teenagers’ 

perception that there is little risk of sex with no contraception. 

 Other factors associated with teenage pregnancy include growing up in a single 

parent family, a lower socioeconomic status, parents with low levels of education, 

violence or abuse, and poor academic performance. If the mother was a teen parent, 

daughter could become pregnant as a teen. In addition, teens who have friends, 

brothers or sisters who are sexually active, who begin dating at an early age, or who 

date someone 3-5 years older are at a greater risk. 

 Even though there are several elements that can influence teen pregnancy, 

for many teenagers, the lack of safe sex education from schools, parents, or the 

government is other cause of teenage pregnancy. Generally, teenagers do not know 

about of birth control and how to respond with friends who invites them into having 

sexual intercourse before they are prepared.

Conclusion

 Most teenagers do not plan to get pregnant, recent findings suggest that 

television, lack of culture and the bad influences are the main causes in the high 

rates of pregnancy among teenagers in the United States. As a result, the present 

society recognizes the fact that in the girls having sex before 18 years old is a common 

thing with high risk to become pregnant. For the majority of women, teen pregnancy 

significantly diminishes their chances of any happy ending.

The teen pregnancy is not only a problem for the girl adolescent, is a big problem for the 

parents, the relatives, also the community, but over all things for the new baby.

Task 1.1.2 Essay about yourself

Introduction

My name is Martin Abraham Galaz Mendez. I am from Mexicali. I am in my first 4-month period of Engineering in Manufacturing Technologies in UPBC. I am going to tell you something about me, my interested, my ambitions and what I hope of my career.

Since I was a child I wanted studying a university  career, I couldn’t start before because I married youngest and then came the son, my wife was studying when we got married and I preferred that her finished first and after begin with my studies.

Now…some years after that I mentioned before, I feel is the exact moment to start with this new challenge, I known it going to be difficult, but I have the support of my family, the inspiration to going ahead,  and also I need to finish the school to increase inside my company o get a new job outside of it.

Why the UPBC ?, Why Manufacturing?, Why is my opinion about the English class?

There are several reasons for why I choose UPBC.

First of all, this is a new university, the infrastructure that it has is very well, the teacher are very well, with a lot of experience giving classes and working in a companies.

Second of all, in this university the English is obligatory, something that in other schools you need to study outside also I compared this school with others and UPBC has the same matters than others, but here you can finish earlier than the others universities.

Another good point is the cost, because is not so expensive and also you can get a scholarship if you have a good average.

Talking a little why I choose manufacturing, is because this career  is one of the most useful in the industries, Manufacturing has a lot of opportunities to apply in different jobs, you can get of Quality Engineer, Planning, Process Engineer, Supervision, HS&E Enginereer among others.

About the English class, I think is very important to learn the English as well as we can, because if you do not domain this language, you are not competitive, you are limited to get a good job, maybe you can get a important job, but easily you lost the 50% of the opportunities only with not speak it.

I am sure that the opportunities of being successful

 in the life are near of us almost can touch them, but we are no prepared for take them, for that we are studying………. if we want something different we cannot do always the same.
